SAIL AWAY WITH ME.
So im home and jobless.. theres not much todo so I thought I'd take a walk on the beach, clear my head and see what I can find. All taken on lancing/shoreham beach. The sun was shining, a soft breeze. I picked a good day to go for a walk. Enjoy!!

MEASURE ME.
Another lot of photos for the magazine. For a uni ad for Heriot Watt, the concept of her being naked and nothing but tape measures, nothing but fashion. i Edited these on photoshop still just playing around. MODEL- ALICE PEREZ.
NASTY GIRL.
For the magazine we had todo a guilty pleasure. We wrote about my friends s&m fetish. For the shoot i used my friend Joe (In the gimp mask) and Clare. This was only another quick shoot but we had alot of fun. the two images i edited in photoshop just messing around and the bottom one is untouched.
BE A MAN.
So as i mentioned earlier when i did the photoshoot for my friend Tom, me and my partner Kerrie had to shoot ours too.. My friend Joe is modelling for us here. Me and Kerrie made the jeans and the t-shirt. You cant see but the jeans have this lil cute leather detail. We had a great quick lil shoot and finally got some sun in Gala. Glasses from h&m, Jacket Zara man,Boots Dr martens.
ANNA BARIBALL
Recently me and my boyfriend visited the Anna Bariball exhibition at the Fruit market gallery in Edinburgh. When i visited this exhibiton i hadn't heard or Bariball, and im glad i found her. Her work is simple but effective. it reminds me of my final project at college. With splats of ink over old photographs and paper with brick engravings this work hypnotised me. If you get a chance i would recommend a visit. PHOTOS FROM GOOGLE IMAGES.

REPORT; LONDON FASHION WEEK A/W 2011/12
Aksu creates a dark and moody vibe with his A/W R-T-W collection
at London fashion week. With Gloomy twists this is a new side to Aksu that we
haven’t seen much of before. With a wide selection of heavy and sheer he also
included his well celebrated, attractive knits. With a colour palette of foggy
greys, jet black and slices of emerald running through the collection this really
related to past collections we’ve seen from Aksu romantic yet seducing dark. Layers
of lace and wool created a murky and provoking show.
When asked what the inspiration for the collection Aksu replied "Old movie posters and book covers of Jekyll and
Hyde and Sweeney Todd were good reference points. Dark motives against an air
of respectability and how to incorporate both of those characteristics into one
look".
His dark A/W fairytale combined masculine
tailoring with pieces of feminine sheer fabrics and chunky knits. Strong, clean
cut shapes with delicate laces and dickey bow ties. Still keeping it amorous
but with a male element. With lacing, laddering and plaits a common theme with
Aksu’s collections it really draws the show together, with that dash of Aksu
magic, which is visible in all of his collections.
He applied a wide selection of heavy and sheer fabrics,
including a lot of metallic’s, coarse and draped. This collection gave an edge
to Aksu’s post work, still with his inventive ways he creates beautiful pieces
of art, he stays true to his previous seasons and still inserts new stimulating
ideas.

CALL ME SUGAR.
So i did a favour for my friend Tom.. the guy in the photos. we all finished menswear and he need a photographer, now this is one of the locations i have used in Gala before with my friend clare for the skirt project! & i love this old skool red british phone box. he modelling trousers and t-shirt by him, sunglasses are Ray-ban and boots and jacket Zara man. only a quick shoot but thought id share. all photos unedited. Ta-ra for now!!
