ACCESSORIES HAUL #2

SILVER RINGS- H&M
GOLD EARRINGS- TOPSHOP
NECKLACE- TOPSHOP
GOLD RINGS- H&M
STONE RING- TOPSHOP
NECKACE- COS

In this accessories haul I'm sharing all my latest jewellery steals with you guys! Most of the shopping I do tends to be in the sale.. what can I say I'm the original bargain hunter (Not David Dickinson)! The ring sets from H&M are great, they go with everything and I brought them in silver & gold. The gold set included a matte and shiny selection and the silver just shine but a vast variety of sizes. there great to mix and match and as you can see in my outfit posts I like wearing them with gaps between them and creating a different look. Both £3.99 a set I think there quite the fashion staple and a definite favourite.

Hoops are another fashion essential. Making a come back from chavy to hip, the bigger the hoop the better and these golden geometric hoops from Topshop were a sale steal at only £3.50 absolute bargain.. right!

So back to finger fancies this is the set of gold rings I'm talking above from H&M. The photo includes my jagged stone ring (previous outfit post) another Topshop sale bargain at £3.50. I love the triangle shape and the fake semi precious stone look. :)

Finally the fringed necklace from COS, one of my favourite shops. I don't often shop here as lets face it, its very dear but lovely so I'm picky with my purchases from COS. This necklace in the sale was just what I was looking for, on sale for £7 was £20-something quite the find. Its brushed silver so its a lovely colour and I love the noise it makes when it moves ever so slightly.

So there are my recent accessories I've purchased, have you found any bargain jewellery recently?

MY WEEK #3

HOME | NEW NAIL VARNISHES | ELLE COLLECTIONS | MOVIE NIGHT WITH MYBOY |  HOME DIP-DYE | H&M HAUL | FLORAL PRINT FROM TOPSHOP | NUDE LIPS | <3

So this week has been another week of work, shopping and home. I'm going to miss it as soon I'm back off to start 3rd year at Uni in Scotland, Galashiels to be more precise. Saying that I'm looking forward to going back to Gala to see old friends, fresher's week, get settled into my new flat and breathe the Scottish air.

If you haven't purchased your copy of Elle collections I urge you too, its great for everyone involved in fashion and its a great read, I love staring and lusting over all the collections, I particularly like D&G this A/W.

I also got paid this week from Schuh! YAY! So I've been spending all my hard earned cash on clothes, alcohol and more clothes, a BIG haul post is to come!

& that's my week, hope you've had a good one!

OUTFIT- ALL BLACK.

SUNGLASSES-TOPSHOP
SHIRT-TOPSHOP
LEATHER SKIRT- VINTAGE
SANDALS- URBAN OUTFITTERS
NECKLACE & RING - TOPSHOP

Happy Monday! I cant believe how fast the summer is flying by, before you know it I'll be back up north starting my 3rd year! Scary shit. This look is one of my favourites so far, that new shirt from the Topshop sale is an official favourite piece now! I teamed it with my vintage leather skirt, that was actually my mums floor length skirt but for a project a wee while a go I needed leather so I killed to birds with one stone, so to speak. Used the cut leather for my project and made the perfect real leather A-line skirt! Its one of the most comfortable garments I own and its one of my favourites too.

The shoes were a sale steal from Urban Outfitters and again I love them! There so comfortable and lovely to wear. I wear a lot of black as you may notice? Wearing all black is one of my favourite trends, always timeless, black can never look bad and everyone knows it slimming. :)

The jewellery were bargains from the Topshop sale, the 3 chain necklace was only £1.50 online... shocking I know. The ring also a cheap sale buy at only £3.50, Its got a beautiful nude rock type stone in the middle and in an interesting triangle shape, which is different and it also look like it can cause real damage.. which me and my sister found out, it can.

Did you get any sale bargains?

Till next time :)

I WISH.

FLORAL CROWN - ROCK 'N ROSE | HOLGRAPHIC SKIRT - TOPSHOP | CUT OUT BOOTS - TOPSHOP | TOP - ZARA | JACKET - H&M.

So here are my current loves, Topshop, as always are featured. I have a very strong love - hate relationship with Topshop but I absolutely love this iridescent  A-line skirt from Topshop! So on trend and the styling possibilities are endless, This can be great for the end of summer or with a layered shirt & jumper combo for winter.

The cut out boots are a must at the moment. I love them and are seriously considering purchasing them! The only thing that worries me is the practically, living in Scotland for Uni, I face a lot of weather issues from snow, hail and heavy rain I'm not sure if these boots will keep me dry & warm.. but they are so beautiful I'm not sure I'll be able to resist.

The floral crown I'm lusting over is from Rock 'n Rose, if you've seen my previous post you know I was having trouble narrowing down my choice, but the verdict is in and I think the Lana crown is the winner! With a mixture of dark and light roses, it really is the perfect floral crown!

More loves from the high street include this high-neck blouse from Zara, you probably cant see but the print is angels and architecture, it reminds me of Magna Carta- Holy Grail art work, Jay-Z new album. With a distressed pink & red effect layered over I think It would look great with a leather A-line skirt. Finally This cardigan/jacket from H&M is last but definitely not least! I love a subtle Aztec print and this jacket looks warm and cosy, but fashionable. I love jackets with this cut, no collar and high neck, a classic look.

So there it is, my current wish list. What's on yours?

NAILED IT- GALAXY NAILS

Galaxy print has recently been a huge trend and I thought why not try out galaxy nails! For my fortnightly instalment of NAILED IT.. get the pun :) I thought I'd experiment with one of my favourite prints and see if an everyday, clumsy painter can re-create this look with minimal fuss.

Firstly I started out with Topshop- Lead, now I've never brought nail varnishes from Topshop until this month and to be honest I love them, great variety of colours and now I own several! So I just painted Teal as a base, I thought the blue and shiny hue would make a great galactic drop back.

Then using several different varnishes I created the stars. For my cluster I picked these nail varnishes: Barry M- 66 Matt white, Topshop Winter frost, Barry M- 161 Vivid purple, Topshop Aurora and for an extra sparkle Models own- Hedkandi Ibiza mix, but you can mix and match whatever varnishes you like.

Topshop Winter frost is a holographic nail varnish, the silver that you see looks great under lights as it glitters like no other, fabulous for this look. I created this nail art with the house hold tools of drinking straws (preferably disposable) and a sponge, this gets real messy so put towel or some paper down first! After my base coat had dried I poured my desired varnish onto a piece of paper, rolling the hold in the straw in it, then through the other hole blow through onto your desired nails.

TIP- if you want to create different looks cutting the straw to different lengths and distance from nail can enhance your look.

After I felt I'd created enough layers, I just went over the top with a sponge, softly dabbing the Barry M matt white over areas of my nail to create extra spacey depth. TIP- make sure you take the excess off your sponge by lightly dapping on towel or paper before applying to nails.

For extra glimmering stars I added a few drops of Models own glitter just to give it that extra starry night shimmer. Add a topcoat for extra protection from chipping and erosion.

So there it is, how I created my galaxy nail look. Have you guys got any tips for galaxy nails? I'd love to hear them.

This crop jumper is a perfect find, in the Topshop sale, its not often I wear crops but this jumper is the right amount of coverage and I love the lilac/grey hue. Teaming this outfit with my new trusty Topshop gladiators another sale find. thick soled and real leather I'm hoping they last me much longer than all my other sandals!
