OUTFIT- SHORT SHORTS.

 CROP JUMPER- TOPSHOP
SHORTS- VINTAGE DIY LEVIS
GLADIATORS- TOPSHOP
SUNGLASSES-H&M
NECKLACE- COS
ALL RINGS- H&M

So after being awoken by a thunderstorm this morning the sunshine has come out & its a beautiful day! So why not wear the shortest shorts ever, my DIY levis, once a pair of my mothers jeans successfully chopped & distressed to fit my needs! Levis are classic and are a wardrobe staple.

This crop jumper is a perfect find, in the Topshop sale, its not often I wear crops but this jumper is the right amount of coverage and I love the lilac/grey hue. Teaming this outfit with my new trusty Topshop gladiators another sale find. thick soled and real leather I'm hoping they last me much longer than all my other sandals! (I'm very heavy footed & clumsy)

The rings came as part of a set and I love them, except the bigger textured ring this was purchased solo. I love these sets H&M are doing as you can tell I have the gold ones in my last post :)

This is one of my favourite outfits for sunny afternoons and evenings.

excuse the hair it really needs dying.. I'm considering a ginger/red hue.. what do you think?

until next time...

OUTFIT- TARTAN.

TARTAN SHIRT- TOPSHOP
PINAFORE PLAYSUIT-TOPSHOP
RINGS-H&M
BOOTS-TOPSHOP

So the weathers been doing a lot of crazy things lately, from sunshine to lightning its hard to dress for this weather! Its muggy, warm and raining where I 'am on the coast of England so here's my outfit answer.

I'm wearing my trusty tartan shirt I've had since my 18th birthday it's a classic and timeless piece and well worth an investment if you haven't already got one.

I've paired the tartan shirt with my new black pinafore playsuit, another Topshop garment, a sale steal at £15. I've been looking for a pinafore for a while and I'm really happy with this one I'm looking forward to teaming it with tights and jumpers in the winter, that's the great thing about pinafores, endless options.

The rings are my most recent purchase. H&M bargain of £3.99 for a pack of 5, that include 2 matte gold and 3 gold I love them!

Have you got any styling tips for this strange weather?

NAILED IT- OMBRE NAILS.

Here's something different than my normal posts, and its about one of my favourite things.. nail art. Now if your like me and like to keep your nails short that doesn't mean they have to be boring! Hell no! So every fortnight I'm going to be uploading nail art that I'm experimenting and loving.

So dip-dye and ombre are so on trend and I recently brought these two nail varnishes and without realising I think they compliment each other. As photographed above the base colour is Barry M- 341 Cappuccino, I've had my eye on this for a while, I like the purple chocolate hue. I did 2 coats of the Cappuccino and let it dry (excuse the messy painting, I'm a brutal nail painter).

Then using a sponge for a textured and controlled layer I used Topshop's Aurora, a beautiful golden colour that in light reflects and resembles a oil, rainbow puddle.

Just gently with the sponge I tapped the area I wanted decorating and as simple as that I created an ombre style nail! I cant wait to try this look with different colour, glitter and textures.

I stuck to just one nail for a simple, minimal look but you can use whatever varnishes you want and do every nail or even every other! completely upto you.

How do you style your ombre nails?
